The latest update on the VALENTINE Main Street project from the Department of Transportation.
With better weather expected, work will continue on the project this week. All utility work, sanitary sewer and water mains, are complete for the project.
The detour on Cherry Street remains in place, with HWY 12 traffic still traveling on Main Street.
IES Commercial will continue work for placing the remaining street lights. Citizens can Expect more footings for street lights to be placed.
Paulsen Inc. will continue placing sidewalks between 1st Street to HWY 20 along Main Street. Patching and curb repair also continues.
This week Paulsen Inc. will begin placement of the 9″ doweled concrete at the intersection of 4th & Main. The North/South (Southbound lane) will be placed first.
