The members of the board of that Sandhills Cancer Fund would like to thank the KVSH area people that came this past weekend to support their cause. Because of the community generosity, they raised over $12,000 for cancer patients in our area. Volunteers served 340 meals and had a great time! There were about 200 people that attended the event at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine on Friday night. Saturday night’s performance was held at the Elks Lodge in Ainsworth. Fun Pianos brought amazing entertainment!! Congratulations to the raffle winners: Jody Smith, North Platte- $50 beef draft JT Neidig, Battle Creek-golf package at Bassett and Ainsowrth. Karla Lectenburg, Valpraiso- handmade titanium spurs Crystal Dailey, Ainsworth-Hande made semitractor hay hauler by Swede Lolley.
