The annual Valentine Rotary Club Fish and Chips for Scholarships raised over $4,000 on March 24th. Rotary Club members served 105 pounds of fish to 200 people along with coleslaw, chips and dessert. The Sandhills Area Foundation partnered with Rotary and provided a $500 contribution. $351 was raised in the 5-/50 raffle which was won by Monty Neiffer. Monty donated his winnings back to the scholarship fund raiser. The donation jar was $3,579. These funds will provide a least 4 $1,000 youth scholarships.
