Concerned listeners have called the KVSH Newsroom notifying us of another scam being attempted on folks in the area. Apparently, the caller states that they are with the Cherry County Hospital, updating their information, asking for your personal data, including social security number and other details that could compromise your identity and financial security. The Cherry County Hospital is does not conduct business in this manner. If you receive one of these fraudulent calls, do not give out any information. Hang up, and consider contacting local authorities.
