Work continues on the VALENTINE Main Street and VALENTINE UTILITIES projects. The detour on Cherry Street has been re-installed for the HWY 83 traffic with some changes. Main Street remains open, with HWY 12 traffic traveling on Main Street. Traffic control will be monitored and adjusted as needed. Midlands Contracting has returned to complete the utilities work. Sanitary Sewer and Water Main work has been completed for the IN VALENTINE UTILITIES project. Expect Storm Sewer work to be complete soon. Paulsen Inc. has mobilized onto the project. This week concrete placement will resume for removals and sidewalks. IES Commercial has began preparations for placing the remaining street lights. Some footings have been placed but no work is scheduled for this week. Restrictions to over width (12’) and overlength cargos is in place.
