Incidents/Arrests:
On 03/23/2023 at 8:46 am, an officer fielded an alcohol violation complaint in the 200 block of north Hall Street. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 03/23/2023 at 8:58 am, an assault was reported in the 400 block of north Green Street. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 03/25/2023 at 2:58 pm, an officer was attempting to locate a missing juvenile in the 500 block of west 3rd Street. A 28 year old Valentine woman was arrested in connection to this incident.
Calls:
On 03/20/2023 at 2:53 pm, an officer received a report that a porch pirate had struck a home in the 500 block of north Haley Street.
On 03/23/2023 at 1:54 am, an officer responded to the 300 block of east 2nd Street in regards to suspicious activity outside the home.
On 03/23/2023 at 10:54 am, a report of child abuse/neglect was reported in the 200 block of south Helen Street. Nebraska CPS was contacted for assistance.
On 03/23/2023 at 4:23 pm, an officer received a theft report for the 200 block of south Helen Street. Suspects have been identified.
On 03/23/2023 at 10:52 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 500 block of west 3rd Street. No action was taken.
On 03/24/2023 at 12:34 am, a report of a runaway was filed.
On 03/24/2023 at 1:28 pm, a complaint of a credit card scam circulating was filed.
On 03/24/2023 at 4:18 pm, a criminal trespass warning was issued to a male subject in the 500 block of west 3rd Street.
On 03/25/2023 at 3:46 pm, officers responded to the 500 block of north Green Street for a disturbance. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 03/25/2023 at 7:30 pm, an officer was requested in the 200 block of east 5th Street for a bond order violation.
On 03/25/2023 at 11:57 pm, an officer was requested in the 100 block of north Thatcher Street in regards to suspicious activity outside the home.
Officers responded to 71 calls for service this week.
