The weather looks encouraging for the 22nd Annual Heart City Bull Bash this Saturday in Valentine. Temperatures should peak at about 45 on Saturday with the Bull Bash opening at 11 AM on Main Street. There will be 4 states represented with 22 pens of bulls, one pen of heifers and a few horses will be on display along with 16 commercial vendors. The 4-H Luck Of The Draw event will open at 10 AM at City Hall with winners announced on KVSH at 4:30. The wine tasting will take place from 2 to 4 PM at the former Auntie Dee’s building with proceeds going to the Sandhills Cancer Fund. Young’s Western Wear will host Dummy Roping and Stick Horse barrel racing in front of their store after lunch. 24 vendors are lined up for the Craft show at Connott Brothers Auction Service building and the People Choice Quilt Show will be at Nelsen Furniture during the day. Be sure to stop by the Riomax tent on Main Street and many merchants will feature Bull Bash specials during the day.
