It’s School Choice Week, and an effort is being made to raise awareness about the choices that parents have in Nebraska. According to schoolchoiceweek.com/Nebraska, some choices that exist in the state include Public Charter Schools, Magnet Public Schools, Online Learning, Private Schools, and At-Home Education in addition to the widely available public school system. The website also states that there are surprisingly no Public Charter Schools available in Nebraska as of 2022, although future legislative action may allow for the creation of charter schools in the state.
