According to Valentine City Manager Shane Seiwart, there was a significant water main break on Lake Shore Drive on the north end of Valentine. Due to this malfunction, homeowners will be unable to access their properties from the usual Park Route entrance. Instead, residents are asked to use the west entrance from Highway 83 just past the Minnechaduza Bridge. Seiwart stated that while the water main break would be a relatively quick fix, repairing the street and making it available and safe for through traffic would take a bit longer.
