There is expected to be some work on the Valentine Main Street project this week. Some Winter work continues. This week, expect work to complete placement of the Traffic Signals at 3rd & Main. IES (electrical contractor) will mobilize onto project to start work today(MON). Work will require periodic traffic closures to allow equipment at the intersection of 3rd & Main. The closure should be of a short duration. Later in the week NDOT Traffic Division and IES will set the timing for the traffic signals at the HWY 20 & Main Street (HWY 83) intersection. When this traffic signal is operational, the Cherry Street Detour will be suspended and HWY 83 traffic will travel Main Street. Scheduling for the remaining work is in progress, with work expected to begin mid-March.
