Wreaths Across America has been conducted in some harsh winter conditions in Valentine in the past, but this has definitely been the most challenging year yet! It is fitting that this year’s national theme for the program is Find A Way 2022. The ceremony and wreath placing scheduled for December 17th at Mt. Hope is postponed. The wreath delivery date has been delayed and it will be several days before graves can be located in the snow. Stay tuned to the Leo Brinda Unit #90 American Legion Auxiliary Facebook page and KVSH radio for a future date. The Auxiliary will also be in touch with those who planned to pick up wreaths early, to place themselves. The community has been very generous again this year, sponsoring nearly 1,000 wreaths to cover Mt. Hope.
The Snow has Caused Another Delay.
