Incidents/Arrests:

On 11/28/2022 at 10:19 am, an officer responded to the 200 block of north Main Street in regards to terroristic threats being made. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.

On 11/29/2022 at 6:27 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 4th and Victoria Streets. An 18 year old male was cited for no driver’s license.

On 11/30/2022 at 8:30 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of east highway 20. A juvenile male was cited for careless driving.

Reported Offenses:

On 11/28/2022 at 11:40 am, a caller reported an abandoned TV and backpack behind their property near Government and 6th Street. Identity of the owner is unknown.

On 11/28/2022 at 2:57 pm, an officer was requested to the 400 block of north Green Street regarding seized drug paraphernalia.

On 11/28/2022 at 3:30 pm, a welfare check was requested on a subject in the 300 block of east highway 20. The man was found to be ok.

On 11/28/2022 at 4:32 pm, an officer assisted with a child neglect investigation. Nebraska’s Child Protective Services was contacted.

On 12/01/2022 at 3:51 am, an officer responded to the 500 block of north Ray Street for an assault. All individuals involved refused to cooperate with the investigation. No action taken.

On 12/01/2022 at 2:32 pm, a caller wanted to file a complaint regarding property in the 200 block of north Hall Street that had sidewalks that hadn’t been scooped.

On 12/02/2022 at 4:38 am, an officer was called to the 100 block of west highway 20 for a delayed report of a disturbance. The disturbance had happened the day prior.

On 12/02/2022 at 1:09 pm, extra patrols were requested in the 400 block of north Hall Street due to suspicious night time activity.

On 12/02/2022 at 11:41 pm, an officer responded to the 800 block of west highway 20 for a domestic disturbance. All parties involved were separated for the evening.

On 12/03/2022 at 5:10 pm, a report of multiple juveniles trespassing on property in the 800 block of Donaher Street was called in. All were gone upon arrival.
