Incidents/Arrests:
On 11/15/2022 at approximately 3:01 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 3rd and Wood Streets. A 54 year old Valentine man was cited for speeding.
Reported Offenses:
On 11/16/2022 at 8:44 am, an officer fielded a delayed report of child welfare concerns. It was suggested that the Nebraska Child Abuse/Neglect Hotline be contacted.
On 11/16/2022 at 9:58 am, an officer responded to the 200 block of south Helen Street for a fight call. A male subject was removed from the home.
On 11/17/2022 at 2:56 pm, an officer was contacted regarding a leaving without permission issue from the 500 block of north Green Street. No action taken.
On 11/17/2022 at 3:09 pm, an officer issued a criminal trespass warning to a subject requiring them to stay away from a home in the 100 block of north Western Street.
On 11/18/2022 at 1:06 am, a shoplifting was reported in the 100 block of east highway 20. Case is pending suspect identification.
On 11/18/2022 at 11:01 am, an officer was requested to standby near the intersection of 4th and Edna Streets. They were to be on the lookout for Amber Alert subjects. No contact was made.
On 11/18/2022 at 3:00 pm, a subject reported that his vehicle had been stolen. It was determined that it hadn’t been stolen, but had been towed by another agency in South Dakota.
On 11/19/2022 at 5:28 am, an officer responded to the 200 block of south Hall Street in regards to an attempted break in. No action was taken.
On 11/19/2022 at 7:54 am, an officer was requested in the 500 block of north Green Street for a disturbance. No action was taken.
