The Valentine Middle School Football team recently completed an undefeated season and finished strong. Scores this year were:
Valentine vs Bennett Co 14-13
Valentine vs O’Neill 26-14
Valentine vs Broken Bow 22-6
Valentine vs Todd Co 60-0
Valentine vs Winner 66-0
Valentine vs Gordon Rushville 66-0
According to coach Kevin Pettigrew, “The guys did a great job of preparing for each game like it was the most important game of the season”.
The team had 13 – 8th graders and 6 – 7th Graders out for football this year.
Pettigrew stated “Hopefully they all will be out for football next year. Congratulations to all the football players on a wonderful season”.
