The Sandhills Area Foundation will have their second annual Family Feud game on October 22nd in Valentine. During this past year, the Foundation has given out over $27,000 in community grants in Cherry County and $113,000 in college scholarships. Community members are encouraged to get their teams together and bid on a chance to play the game during the banquet. The grand prize is a three night stay for up to 16 people in the Black Hills donated by Dick and Lois Schneider. At this time Foundation board members are contacting area citizens to help raise awareness of the Foundation and discuss ways to support the foundation.
