The Cherry County Hospital Foundation held their annual pancake breakfast at the fairgrounds during the Cherry County Fair. Visitors dropped $2,430.00 into the bucket for the free-will breakfast, with all funds going to several “Binder” patient lifting apparatus for the Cherry County Hospital Ambulance Service, as well as some funding towards new exam tables for the clinic. The “Binder” devices are meant to be used by properly trained individuals to help lift or assist patients without suspected back or neck injury. These devices will be placed on the ambulance units as soon as EMS personnel are properly trained. Thanks to the Cherry County Hospital Foundation as well as everyone who attended the free-will breakfast this year.
