Arrests/Incidents:
On 08/14/2022 at 3:32 pm, an officer responded to the 300 block of north Victoria Street for a domestic disturbance. A 50 year old male and a 46 year old male, both from South Dakota, were arrested for assault and criminal trespassing.
On 08/17/2022 at 8:37 pm, an officer was notified that a vehicle had been stolen from the 700 block of east highway 20. The vehicle was located.
On 08/19/2022 at 2:49 pm, a report of a “dine and dash” was called in from the 600 block of east highway 20. Suspect identification is unknown.
On 08/20/2022 at 11:59 am, an officer received a report that a vehicle had been stolen from the 100 block of north Main Street. The vehicle was later recovered west of town on highway 20. Suspect identification is unknown.
Reported Offenses:
On 08/15/2022 at 1:35 am, an officer responded to the 200 block of west B Street for a report of an unknown subject pounding on their door. Subject was gone upon arrival.
On 08/15/2022 at 4:13 pm, an officer was requested in the 100 block of North Thatcher Street for a domestic disturbance. The dispute was verbal. No action taken.
On 08/16/2022 at 5:45 pm, an officer took a complaint of harassment in the 200 block of north Macomb Street. The complaint was unfounded.
On 08/16/2022 at 7:41 pm, an officer was requested to the 300 block of north Main Street in regards to an open door. All was found to be ok.
On 08/17/2022 at 8:39 am, an officer was requested to contact a family on the first day of school for truancy. Kids were dropped off at school shortly after.
On 08/19/2022 at 4:20 pm, a caller wanted to file a complaint regarding a code violation occurring in the 400 block of north Macomb. The responsible parties were contacted and requested to remove the discarded furniture from the alley.
On 08/20/2022 at 12:36 am, officers responded to the 800 block of Donaher Street for a domestic disturbance. No action was taken.
On 08/20/2022 at 3;00 pm, an officer received a complaint of a gas skip failure to pay in the 100 block of east highway 20. The subject later was contacted and returned to pay.
