The Sparks Nebraska Spurs Chapter of the Cowboy Fast Draw Association is entering a busy time of the year for their club. This weekend they will be hosting a town folk alley at the Keya Paha County Fair in Norden on Saturday and Sunday. A town folk alley is designed to allow the public to try Cowboy Fast Draw under the supervision of experienced club members they will also be at the Brown County Fair in Johnstown over Labor Day weekend with another Town Folk Alley. 

September 16th through the 18th they will host about 100 shooters from across the country for the Nebraska State Championship and Great Plains Territorial Shoot at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine. This is known as the “last chance shoot” because it’s the last qualifying match before world CFDA championships. The public is welcome to come watch some of the top fast draw competitors in the country during the contest in September.
