The Cherry County GOP will have a booth in the Cherry County Fair at the Bus Barn on Friday August 12 and Saturday August 13th. They will have candidate information available, plus a petition to request that Cherry County change Cherry County voting procedures back to in-person voting for the entire county.
Thursday, August 11th – State, District, and Local Candidates will be at the Fairgrounds in the Livestock barn. There will be a Meet and Greet with the candidates at Bolo Beer from 4 til 6 pm, everyone is invited. They will also have a Parade float, however most candidates will be walking the parade route. So far they expect Bob Evnen (Sec of State), Mike Hilgers (Atty General) Lt. Gov Mike Foley (Auditor of Public Accts) Elizabeth Tegtmeier (State School Board Dist 7) and Kathy Wilmot, ( Board of Regents, Dist 7).
