July 17 – 23, 2022
Reported Offenses:
On 07/19/2022 at 10:43 am, an officer was requested at 3rd and Ray Streets for a missing adult. The adult had returned home prior to our arrival.
On 07/19/2022 at 2:03 pm, an officer took a delayed report of a hit and run accident that had occurred in the 100 block of south Main Street.
On 07/19/2022 at 5:07 pm, a report of a disturbance happening in the 600 block of west Highway 20 was called in. No action was taken.
On 07/19/2022 at 10:19 pm, an officer took a report of an attempted break in that had occurred in the 200 block of North Hall Street.
On 07/20/2022 at 10:20 am, an officer received a call regarding property damage in the 200 block of south Hall Street. The caller wanted the issue documented.
On 07/20/2022 at 4:17 pm, an officer took a delayed report of a hit and run accident that had occurred in the 100 block of east 2nd Street.
On 07/21/2022 at 1:36 pm, an officer responded to a report of shoplifting in the 600 block of east highway 20. The issue was handled without law enforcement involvement.
On 07/21/2022 at 2:11 pm, a report of a child nearly being struck at the intersection of 7th and Government Streets. The caller reported that the vehicle had been speeding.
On 07/21/2022 at 4:39 pm, a report of a pedestrian nearly being struck at the intersection of highway 20 and Cherry Streets. The caller reported that the vehicle had failed to stop at the stop light.
On 07/22/2022 at 12:57 am, an officer responded to the 400 block of north Cherry Street for a noise complaint.
On 07/22/2022 at 10:03 am, a complaint that people are using the Cowboy Trail to avoid construction zones was filed.
On 07/22/2022 at 10:44 am, an officer was requested to the 400 block of north Main Street for a suspicious vehicle.
On 07/23/2022 at 3:00 am, an officer responded to the 100 block of east highway 20 for a report of a male soliciting sex.
On 07/23/2022, an officer was called to a residence in the 200 block of south Hall Street 3 times throughout the 24 hours for disturbances. Each time, the suspect had left the area.
On 07/23/2022 at 6:33 pm, an officer was requested to conduct a business check in the 100 block of south Macomb Street due to an open door.
Incident/Arrests:
On 07/17/2022 at 12:14 pm, an officer responded to the 600 block of north Ray Street for a report of a burglary. A suspect has been identified and a warrant requested.
Officers responded to 106 calls for service this week.
