The Association of Nebraska Art Club’s traveling Show is currently on display at the Valentine Public Library on Main Street until August 11th.
David Dorsey, local artist, won the Best of Show for “Watermelon” in June 2022, at the ANAC Conference in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Dorsey’s painting “Watermelon” is on display at the library. Other pieces come from artists in Nebraska art clubs in cities large and small. The show is traveling Nebraska from June 2022 to June 2023. There are over 27 pieces in this show.
Only a limited number of art pieces can be submitted for the ANAC Conference show based on the membership of the local clubs, and only two from any individual in a club. The public is encouraged to take time to visit the Valentine Library to view this display of Nebraska art before August 12th.
