Reported Offenses:

On 07/11/2022 at 12:40 am, an officer responded to the 100 block of east 2nd Street for a hit and run accident.  The Cherry County Sheriff’s Office located the suspect.

On 07/11/2022 at 10:04 am, an officer fielded a report of a theft.  A lawn trailer had been stolen from the 800 block of west highway 20.

On 07/13/2022 at 8:05 am, an officer was requested to respond to the 200 block of south Hall Street for an injured cat. 

On 07/13/2022 at 9:10 am, a subject reported that their credit card had been used in New Mexico.  The victim had not traveled to that location.

On 07/13/2022 at 11:53 pm, a suspicious person was reported in the 200 block of east B Street.  Subject was found to be using Wi-Fi.  They were asked to leave at the request of the homeowner.

On 07/14/2022 at 4:20 pm, officers were called to the 300 block of west 2nd Street for a disturbance.  The female subject causing the disturbance was asked to leave.

On 07/15/2022 at 5:50 pm, an officer was requested in the 600 block of east highway 20 for a child custody exchange.

On 07/15/2022 at 6:38 pm, an officer responded to the 600 block of east highway 20 for a complaint of unsupervised children shopping.  Parents were contacted.

On 07/16/2022 at 3:45 pm, an officer received a complaint of harassment taking place in the 200 block of north Macomb Street.  The suspect was not located.

On 07/16/2022 at 4:09 pm, an officer responded to the 100 block of west highway 20 for a report of indecent exposure.  Subjects were asked to not urinate in public.

On 07/16/2022 at 4:20 pm, an officer was requested in the 100 block of east highway 20 for an animal complaint.  A raccoon was relocated.

On 07/16/2022 at 6:16 pm, a hit and run accident was reported to have happened in the 100 block of west highway 20.  The suspect vehicle was not located.

Officers responded to 85 calls for service this week.
