According to Valentine Main Street project manager Darrell Lurz, the Second Street intersection on Main Street should be reopened to traffic late next week. Sidewalk construction is waiting for conduit for new
street lights which could be about 2 week out. Installation of the new lamp posts will follow. They may be able to open the 300 block on North Main to local traffic sometime next week as well. It is hoped to have the
200 and 300 blocks mostly completed by the August 6th Crazy Day in Valentine.
