The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
July 3 - 9, 2022
Reported Offenses:
On 07/06/2022 at 1:14 pm,
an officer responded to the 100 block of west highway 20
for a non-injury accident. The cause was improper turning.
On 07/07/2022 at 4:57 pm,
an officer responded to the 700 block of east highway 20
for a non-injury accident.
Damage was reported to be less than the mandated
reporting requirements of $1,500 and no injuries.
On 07/07/2022 at 8:40 pm,
an officer received a complaint that children were
crossing highway 20 without adult supervision.
Children were not located.
On 07/09/2022 at 1:07 pm,
an officer responded to the 900 block of north Green
Street in regards to an assault.
The issue was resolved without law enforcement
involvement.
On 07/09/2022 at 5:06 pm,
an officer responded to the 600 block of east 5th Street
for a business alarm.
The maintenance staff were contacted and asked to address the
issue.
Incidents/Arrests:
On 07/03/2022 at 10:18 pm,
an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of
east highway 20.
A 50 year old North Platte man was arrested on suspicion of
operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Officers responded to 105 calls for service this week.
