The Valentine Classic Motor Club organized their annual mini show, cruise night and burn out contest last evening in the Heart City. An estimated 100 cars participated in the cruise night around Valentine and there were 13 entries in the gasoline powered burn out contest held south of Speedee Mart after the cruise. There were also three entries in the diesel powered burn out contest. Justin Marsh won the diesel category and the peoples choice award for the burn out. Carson Peck won the gasoline division with a early model GMC pick up. Another crowd favorite was the Rez Rod 1 who smoked the tires in a Cadillac until a tire blew. Sponsors included Wrenched Tire and Auto, The Parts Company, Circle K Motors and Pit Stall. NK Waste Management also contributed $200 for each non winning burn out contest entry. The Valentine Volunteer Fire Department was on hand to assist during the event.
