The Valentine Chamber of Commerce has a busy summer planned to help local businesses with some fun events. The first of those events will be the City Wide Garage Sale on July 16th. Chamber director Dean Jacobs stated the deadline to get information turned is will be July 7th.

Drop those garage sale ads off at Midland News to be included in advertising and the map of sales.

Other events later this summer will include the Chamber Golf tournament on July 23rd. The tournament is currently full with 20 teams entered. There is still room for tee box, flag and pin prizes.

Crazy Days will be the week of August 1st through the 6th with the main day on the 6th. Vendors are invited to downtown Valentine during the event on August 6th. It is hoped the 200 and 300 blocks of Main Street construction will be mostly completed by that time.

The Chaduza Cook Off will be September 10th in the City Park including a corn hole tournament. The chamber will also serve watermelon during the Cherry County Fair on August 13th.
