Valentine Economic Development will host the annual Nebraska Economic Developers Conference this week. Valentine hosted the event previously in 2005, 2009 and in 2014.
130 Economic Development Professionals from across the state will gather for networking opportunities and educational sessions during the conference which begins on Wednesday and concludes at noon on Friday.
Wednesday events include a golf outing for about 26 people, 10 attendees selected a Niobrara River trip and almost 50 people will participate in a business tour to Niobrara Valley Vineyards and George Paul Vinegar in Cody.
Wednesday evening they will gather at Bolo Beer Co for a welcome reception. All day Thursday and Friday morning will be educational sessions at The Peppermill. Thursday evening they will gather at the Trailhead park for some fun activities including Cowboy Fast Draw and Axe Throwing as well as a a pitch fork Fondue supper.
