According to coach Katie Galvin, District Speech was held on March 5 in Ainsworth.
The Badger Speech team had two finalists: Finley Mosner in Poetry and Lindsey Boes in Serious Prose.
Lindsey earned a 6th place medal and Finley earned a 2nd place medal, which landed her a spot
at the State Speech Meet.
On March 17, Finley competed with the top 18 poets in Class C-1, in a 3 preliminary round competition,
the first year for this format. Finley held her own, speaking with the best of the best.
Finley did not place at state speech.
