Kim Burge, Director of the North Central RC&D, announced today that entries are being accepted to the first ever Lick Tub Challenge. The challenge is to find a new purpose for a used up lick tub. “This is a contest where your creativity or necessity can be rewarded,” adds Burge. “Lick tubs get brought up a lot in our 6 county area when we talk about recycling. So the Council decided to have fun – promoting great ideas to reuse livestock supplement lick tubs.”
Entries to the contest will bring their “upcycled” models to the Ranch Expo June 15th and 16th in Bassett. The entries will be on display and judged. Prizes will be awarded during the Expo. For more information or to enter, contact Kim @ 402.376.5842.
