North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 34 new COVID-19 cases in the district since last reporting period on 2/22/2022.

You are officially invited to join NCDHD at the O’Neill Community Center on March 15, 2022 to review the FINAL CHA data and select the CHIP priorities. An evaluator from UNL’s Public Policy Center will present the data and report findings. It is anticipated the meeting with go from 10am-2pm. If this changes, further communication will be sent. NCDHD urges all community partners to participate in this gathering, as the more input from varying sectors the better partners can accurately select health priorities for the next three years.

Any individual with immunocompromising conditions is eligible for a COVID-19 booster dose 3 months after their 3rd dose. If you have questions about your eligibility or when you should get your booster dose, please contact your medical provider or NCDHD at 402-336-2406.

The CDC has updated guidance that it is no longer necessary to delay COVID-19 vaccination following receipt of monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma. NCDHD is offering scheduled COVID-19 Testing through TotalWellness on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. PCR and Rapid tests are available. This testing is offered in O’Neill and is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. NO WALK-INS ACCEPTED. This testing can be utilized by symptomatic/exposed individuals or for those in need of a COVID-19 test for travel. To register, visit https://login.registermytime.com/tw/ncdhd.
