The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
February 20 – 26, 2022
02/20/2022 at 10:31 am, an officer responded to a non-injury accident in the 500 block of north Valentine Street. A 29 year old Crookston man was cited for no insurance and driving while suspended.
On 02/20/2022 at 9:18 pm, officers responded to the 100 block of north Thatcher Street in regards to a disturbance. A 34 year old Valentine man was arrested for domestic assault.
On 02/23/2022 at 12:38 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 6th and Macomb Streets. A 61 year old Valentine man was cited for a stop sign violation.
On 02/25/2022 at 7:51 pm, an officer conducted a welfare check in the Valentine City Park. An 18 year old South Dakota man was cited for drug violations.
On 02/26/2022 at 7:15 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near A and Government Street. A juvenile male from Valentine was cited for careless driving, no operator’s license and an equipment violation.
On 02/26/2022 at 7:49 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop at 6th and Green Street. A juvenile male from Valentine was cited for speeding.
Officers responded to 107 calls for service this week.
