The Valentine Badgers brought home 5 medals from State Wrestling in Omaha. William Sprenger (113) placed 2nd, Cayden Lamb (145) and Tagg Buechle (182) placed 4th, Ashton Lurz (152) and Tobin Olson (160) placed 5th.

Mullen brought home some hardware as well: Eli Paxton (120) placed 1st, Isaac Welch (285) placed 3rd, Jeffrey Forsen (106) placed 4th, Kyle Durfee (132) placed 5th, and Sean Simonson (170) placed 6th.

Levi Lewis (152) of North Central placed 2nd.

Reece Zutavern (195) of Sandhills/Thedford brought home another 1st place medal.

Jolyn Pozehl (114) represented Ainsworth for the inaugural girls State tournament, bringing home 5th place.
