The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
January 9 – 15, 2022
On 1/9/2022 at 2:43 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop on west highway 20. A 36 year old Valentine man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
On 1/9/2022 at 9:12 am, an officer responded to the 700 block of east highway 20 in regards to shoplifting. A 34 year old South Dakota man was identified as the suspect. A warrant will be sought.
On 1/9/2022 at 4:19 pm, an officer responded to the 700 block of east highway 20 in regards to shoplifting. A 22 year old man and 33 year old female, both from South Dakota, were identified as suspects. Warrants will be sought.
On 1/12/2022 at 9:12 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of north Main Street. A 19 year old South Dakota man was cited for no driver’s license, no insurance and a child restraint violation.
On 1/13/2022 at 7:10 pm, an officer contacted a 56 year old Valentine man regarding an ordinance violation. A citation was issued.
On 1/14/2022 at 12:58 am, an officer made contact with a subject in the 100 block of north Main Street. A 49 year old Valentine female was arrested on an active Cherry County Warrant.
On 1/15/2022 at 1:28 am, an officer responded to the 400 block of north Cherry Street in regards to property damage. Your help is needed in identifying suspects.
