The Sparks Nebraska Spurs cowboy fast draw club will host a jackpot shoot in Valentine January 29th and 30th at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. The public is welcome to come see what cowboy fast draw is all about. Shooting action begins at 9am both mornings. 30 plus shooters from the surrounding states are expected to compete in the 2 day fun event.
The Sparks Spurs have also committed to bring the 2022 Nebraska State Championship and Great Plains Territorial Shoots back to Valentine on September 16th through the 18th. This event annually draws about 100 shooters from across the country to Valentine.
The group practices each Thursday night in Valentine for anyone who would like to find out more about cowboy fast draw, or even try it out. They can loan equipment to get you started.
