December 26, 2021 – January 1, 2022
On 12/28/2021 at 4:02 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersections of 4th and Cherry Streets. An 18 year old South Dakota female was cited for driving under suspension and no proof of insurance.
On 1/1/2022 at 12:23 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersections or highway 20 and Cherry Street. A 35 year old Illinois man was cited for no child safety restraint.
On 1/1/2022 at 12:34 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of east 5th Street. A 24 year old Valentine man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The passenger, a 46 year old Valentine man, was arrested for an active Cherry County warrant.
On 1/1/2022 at 2:10 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop at 100 north Thatcher Street. A 24 year old South Dakota woman was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
On 1/1/2022 at 2:11 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersections of 7th and Green Street. A 22 year old Crookston man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and drug charges.
On 1/1/2022 at 10:19 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersections of 3rd and Edna Streets. A 27 year old Valentine woman was arrested on an active Cherry County warrant.
Officers responded to 114 calls for service this week.
