The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
December 19 – 25, 2021
On 12/20/2021 at 8:20 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 4th and Edna Streets. A 34 year old South Dakota woman was cited for no proof of insurance and a seat belt violation.
On 12/23/2021 at 9:07 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 4th and Cherry Streets. A 28 year old male, 38 year old female and a 19 year old female, all from South Dakota, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a stolen handgun and active warrants.
On 12/24/2021 at 7:30 pm, officers responded to the 400 block of north Cherry Street for a physical disturbance. A 26 year old female from Valentine was arrested on an active Cherry County Warrant. A 30 year old female from Valentine was arrested for disturbing the peace.
Officers responded to 81 calls for service this week.
