The regular meeting of the Valentine City Council was held Thursday evening. Most of the meeting dealt with routine matters. The council did vote to change the starting time for their regular meetings to 6 pm each month.
A couple of economic development program loans were approved: $30,000 to Kallah Markley for property acquisition and business expansion and $40,000 to Morgan Arnold, also for property expansion and business expansion. Both loans are at 4% interest for 15 years.
No action was taken on school zone speed limits or bids for armor coating projects.
