High winds caused the fireworks display on Veteran’s Day to be rescheduled to Sunday, November 14, at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. It will take place shortly after sunset, so approximately 5:30 to 6 pm. Winds gusted up to 71 mph around the Valentine area yesterday, with even greater gusts being reported in South Dakota.
