Shakespeare on Tour’s 16th season brings Romeo and Juliet to Valentine! A public performance will be held on Sunday, October 17, 6:00 pm at the Valentine High School. Admission is free to the public. Donations will be accepted and are appreciated. A free performance for the Valentine High School students will be happening Monday, October 18.

Following each performance, audience members will be invited to participate in a post-show discussion with the cast and crew members.

Romeo and Juliet, one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, explores the power of hate and the power of love. Directed by Tyrone Beasley, this adaptation is set to hip-hop rhymes. Nebraska Shakspeare’s touring company consists of eleven cast members: Isabella Davis, Connor Johnson, TammyRa’ Jackson, Justin Mackey, Eric Lawson, Nadie Ra’Shaun, Claire Metusaleum, Katelyn Slater, Rachel Munoz, Andre McGraw, and Silas Waugh.
