The theme for this years Nebraska Star Party is “Far Sighted”. The event will take place in the Valentine area August 1st through the 6th. Most of the activities will center around the Snake Campground area of Merritt Reservoir southwest of Valentine. They do plan to hold the swap meet, photo contest, speaker programs and contest awards at Valentine High School on Wednesday the 4th of August.
While in the area, many of the attendees will take a river trip down the Niobrara, visit Niobrara Valley Vineyards, enjoy a golf outing, or fish area lakes as well as shop in Valentine.
