The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
June 20-26, 2021
On 06/20/2021 at 10:08 am, an officer was called to 3rd and Edna Streets in regards to a report of a dog bite caused by a dog at large. A 38 year old Valentine woman was cited for the city ordinance violations.
On 06/20/2021 at 1:03 pm, officers were called to the 200 block of east 2nd Street in regards to a domestic disturbance. A 21 year old Valentine man was arrested for domestic assault and criminal mischief.
On 06/23/2021 at 7:27 pm, an officer was called to the 200 block of north Cherry Street in regards to a report of criminal mischief. The investigation is ongoing.
On 06/25/2021 at 8:34 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of east highway 20. A 40 year old male and 27 year old female, both from Colorado, were arrested on multiple drug charges.
On 06/26/2021 at 2:53 am, officers were called to the 100 block of north Main Street for a disturbance. A 43 year old South Dakota man was arrested for domestic assault and resisting arrest.
Officers responded to 117 calls for service this week.
