The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
June 13 – 19, 2021
On 06/15/2021 at 7:50 am, an officer was requested to respond to the 500 block of Little’s Trailer Court for a trespasser. The subject had left prior to law enforcement’s arrival. All information will be forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 06/15/2021 at 5:34 pm, an officer was requested to respond to the 100 block of south Wood Street for an assault. A 30 year old woman from Valentine was arrested for domestic assault and resisting arrest.
On 06/15/2021 at 5:34 pm, an officer cited a 30 year old female from Valentine for a city ordinance violation in the 100 block of south Wood Street.
On 06/17/2021 at 1:15 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of south Main Street. Following an investigation, a 23 year old male from Colorado was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and other drug related violations.
On 06/18/2021 at 7:48 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of west highway 20. Following an investigation, a 36 year old female and 37 year old male, both from South Dakota, were cited for possession of marijuana less than one ounce and drug paraphernalia.
Officers responded to 114 calls for service this week.
