The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
June 6 – 12, 2021
On 06/07/2021 at 2:25 pm, an officer cited a 22 year old Valentine man for a code violation in the 200 block of east 2nd Street.
On 06/10/2021 at 9:05 am, an officer was notified of a sexual assault. The investigation is ongoing.
On 06/11/2021 at 1:18 am, an officer made contact with a vehicle in the 700 block of west highway 20. Following an investigation, a 27 year old woman from Cody and a 30 year old man from Valentine were cited for possession of marijuana less than one ounce and drug paraphernalia.
On 06/12/2021 at 2:01 am, an officer was called to the 100 block of Lodi Street. A 19 year old man from South Dakota was arrested for assault, criminal mischief and several alcohol violations.
Officers responded to 121 calls for service this week.
