The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
May 23-29, 2021
On 05/23/2021 at 10:43 am, an officer was requested in the 700 block of west 3rd Street for a dog complaint. A 41 year old Valentine man was cited for dog at large.
On 05/26/2021 at 4:13 pm, officers were requested to respond to the 100 block of north Main Street regarding a trespasser. A 47 year old Valentine woman was arrested for Criminal Trespassing.
On 05/29/2021 at 12:56 am, officers were called to the 300 block of east highway 20 in regards to a drug violation. Following an investigation, a 33 year old male and 35 year old female, both from South Dakota, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and child neglect.
On 05/29/2021 at 3:31 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of west 2nd Street. Following an investigation, a 37 year old male and 40 year old female, both from South Dakota, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Officer responded to 131 calls for service this week.
