The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
May 9 – 15, 2021
On 05/10/2021 at 4:55 am, an officer was requested to respond to the 100 block of north Thatcher Street in regards to an assault. A 33 year old Valentine man was arrested for domestic assault.
On 05/10/2021 at 1:20 am, an officer was requested to respond to the 100 block of north Hall Street for a shoplifter. Although the shoplifter was not located, a 61 year old male who had been accompanying them was arrested on an active Pennington County South Dakota warrant.
On 05/10/2021 at 4:08 pm, an officer was called to the 200 block of north Hall Street for an assault. All information will be forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 05/14/2021 at 7:42 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of west highway 20. Following an investigation, 3 South Dakota juveniles were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana less than one ounce.
Officer responded to 110 calls for service this week.
