Electronics recycling will be held in Valentine on May 4th, 11am to 3pm at the NRD parking lot on East Highway 20. This will be the last time old tube type TVs can be accepted thanks to a grant from the Nebraska Recycling Council. Only two old style TV’s per household can be accepted without incurring a charge. No large appliances or AC units and Freon items can not be accepted. Almost anything that plugs in or is rechargeable will be accepted. Printers, cell phones, computers, cameras, DVD players, microwaves, speakers, Christmas lights and batteries can be accepted. For information contact Kim Burge at 402 376 6842.

Other are electronic recycling efforts will include; Springview on Tuesday, May 4th 9-10:30AM at the Turbine Mart and in Bassett May 3  9:00 – 11:30 am  at the Old City Hall Parking Lot.  Other communities will be a part of this RC&D recycling effort as well, so stay tuned to KVSH Radio for additional details.
