The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
February 14-20, 2021
On 02/15/2021 at 9:44 am, an officer responded to a 2 car accident at the intersection of 4th and Hall Streets. A juvenile female was cited for a stop sign violation and no driver’s license.
On 02/15/2021 at 5:50 pm, an officer responded to a 2 car accident at the intersection of B and Western Streets. A 25 year old Valentine woman was cited for no proof of insurance.
On 02/16/2021 at 6:38 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of north Wood Street. A 41 year old South Dakota woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. An 18 year old female and 31 year old male, both from South Dakota were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
On 02/17/2021 at 10:59 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of west 3rd Street. A 51 year old male was cited for no driver’s license and possession of an open alcohol container. A 48 year old female was cited for possession of marijuana less than one ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were from South Dakota.
On 02/18/2021 at 10:30 am, an officer responded to the 200 block of west 2nd Street for a report of an assault. All information gathered has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 02/18/2021 at 7:00 pm, an officer responded to the 500 block of north Ray Street for a report of an assault. All information gathered has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 02/20/2021 at 6:30 pm, an officer was requested to respond to the 500 block of Little’s Trailer Court for a report of an assault. Due to the ages of those involved, all information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
