Five students from Valentine High School participated in a virtual music festival from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. These students all auditioned for the UNK Music Festival that would have been held on January 25th. While the in-person music event was not held due to concerns with Covid-19, they were able to attend several classes via Zoom, including a master class on their instrument or vocal part to develop their musical skills. Participants were: Tamara Benedict, Sarah Butler, Grace Maunu, Elli Springer, and Sean Springer.
