January 17-23, 2021
On 01/18/2021 at 3:25 pm, an officer was called to Bomgaars in regards to 3 shoplifting incidents. A 40 year old Valentine man was cited in regards to all 3 incidents.
On 01/18/2021 at 8:43 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of north Government Street. Following an investigation, a juvenile female was cited for traffic offenses. A second juvenile female was cited for an alcohol violation.
On 01/20/2021 at 10:15 am, an officer was contacted regarding a felony level theft by deception. The investigation is ongoing.
On 01/20/2021 at 3:45 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 3rd and Hall Streets. A 66 year old Valentine woman was cited for a stop sign violation and no operator’s license.
On 01/21/2021 at 3:58 am, an officer made contact with a vehicle in the 300 block of east 4th Street. Following an investigation, a 51 year old South Dakota man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence.
Officer responded to 124 calls for service this week.
