Original post:
Tune in to the KVSH comment program Wednesday, January 13th, at 10:15 am for the Rotary Club’s service project RADIOthon to raise money for equipment for first responders. Instead of a “thank you” dinner, donuts, or other expression of gratitude, the first responders instead requested we simply donate needed equipment to help better serve the community. The Rotary Club has kicked off the fundraiser with a $1500 donation; tune in to hear how YOU can be a part of this very worthy service project and donate during the RADIOthon tomorrow, Wednesday, January 13th. Equipment to be donated includes hand-held radios for our EMTs, radios for the area fire departments so they can communicate with each other, and body and in-car cameras for our law enforcement officers.
Thanks in advance to the community for giving back to our area first responders by making donations and helping the Rotary Club reach their goal of $5640 ($1500 which has already been raised)!
